M's 3 - Angels 1Mariners win to avoid the sweep. Bedard outlasts Ervin Santana after both teams failed to score until the 7th. Bedard went 7 innings, K'd 5, BB'd 0. The Mariners' offense caught a break in the 7th when Carlos Peguero's two out grounder caromed off of second base, scoring Figgins and Ichiro. Both Figgins and Ichiro are looking better, which bodes well. Greg Halman hit a solo home run to center, his first big league home run, and Brandon League chalked up yet another save.
